    After a successful tour of the Middle East and Asia the Red Arrows have come back home to Lincolnshire.

    They're based at RAF Scampton and decided to do a quick flyover past Lincoln's Christmas Market.

    They were so quick we almost missed them!

    Tim Farron is coming to the country this morning fresh from a by-election victory in the Richmond Park seat in South West London.

    Lib Dem Sarah Olney - who voted against Brexit - beat former Tory MP Zac Goldsmith.

    Speaking on BBC Breakfast, Mr Farron says he thinks the vote shows his party also has a chance in the by-election in Sleaford and North Hykeham next week:

    A woman in her 80s has died after a car crash last night.

    A white VW Caddy van and a red Renault Clio collided on the A46 Grimsby Road in Cabourne at about 20:30. 

    The two drivers suffered serious injuries and were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary but the woman, who was a passenger in the Clio, died at the scene.

    Police want anyone who saw the crash to come forward.

    Yesterday morning we told you that six rare sheep, including five pregnant ewes, had gone missing from a field in Brattleby. 

    At the time Police believed that the Shetland sheep had been stolen. However it turns out they'd actually managed to escape from their pen.

    They were eventually discovered by residents in Aisthorpe at about 17:00. Quite the distance!

    The sheep are now back where they belong and the farmer has said they're now in a more secure field. Sounds like he feels a bit sheepish to me.

    A charity supporting farmers in Lincolnshire says it's vital the county's last cattle market stays open.

    Louth's cattle market held its annual Fat Stock show yesterday where farmers show and auction their finest livestock:

    After a 60-day tour across Asia and the Middle East the Red Arrows are coming back to Lincolnshire this lunchtime.

    They were originally due back yesterday but bad weather scuppered the plans.

    Earlier this week we told you that four surgeries are set to close in January because of funding issues.

    These are:

    • The Arboretum, Lincoln
    • Burton Road, Lincoln  
    • Metheringham Surgery  
    • Pottergate Surgery, Gainsborough 

    As a result 11,000 patients have to find a new surgery, although health bosses say everyone will be able to register with another practice within half a mile.

    People with concerns can go to drop-in sessions.

    Burton Road held a drop-in last night and two more will be held today for Arboretum and Metheringham patients.
