No refunds after Fortnite festival cancellationpublished at 10:29 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2019
Parents have been left out of pocket after a video game festival was cancelled in Lincolnshire.
Fortnite Live, was set up by a company in Spalding, but it ran into problems.
The creators of the smash hit Fortnite game, which was not affiliated to the festival, sued the event organisers.
There were also complaints about bad quality and poor organisation of the event held in Norwich last weekend.
Anthony Ogle was planning on taking his three sons but he received an email this week saying the event was cancelled and refunds won't be issued.
Mr Ogle says losing the £54 pounds he paid for the tickets isn't as bad as having to tell the boys their fun weekend was cancelled.
