1. Police witness appeal after girl, 10, hurt in crashpublished at 12:29 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2020

    Police are appealing for witnesses or any dashcam footage after a 10-year-old girl was injured in a collision on the A17 near Boston last week.

    The girl was hit by Toyota Rav 4 at the junction of Sleaford Road and Hipper Lane in Wigtoft just after 15:00 on Friday.

    She was taken to hospital and the latest from the Police is that her injuries are "not considered to be life-threatening or life-changing".

    She was with another girl on the centre island on the A17 just before the collision happened, according to Lincolnshire Police.

    Anyone who saw what happened, or who has footage from around the time of the incident, is being asked to contact the force.

  2. Red Arrows try out new home ahead of 2022 movepublished at 11:30 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2020

    The Lincolnshire-based Red Arrows will try out their new home this week.

    They'll be temporarily based at RAF Waddington until Friday, although the famous aerobatic team will still practise above their current home of RAF Scampton.

    It was announced earlier this year that the Reds will be staying in Lincolnshire and moving to Waddington when Scampton closes in 2022:

  3. Hospitals get ready to start vaccinatingpublished at 10:16 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2020

    People in Lincolnshire will be amongst the first in the world to be vaccinated against coronavirus.

    United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been chosen as one of 50 hubs to start rolling out the Pfizer/BioNtech jab from tomorrow.

    Care staff and the over 80s will be amongst the first to get it.
