Sheila Poupard is being treated at a south London hospital, officers said.
The leader of a communist cult threatened his daughter with death after she said she had a crush on former mayor of London Ken Livingstone, a court has heard.
Aravindan Balakrishnan, 75, convinced his cult he was god-like and could read their minds, prosecutor Rosina Cottage QC told the court.
Mr Balakrishnan, of Enfield, north London, denies charges including four counts of rape and seven of indecent assault.

Officers, external are appealing for help in finding a missing 86-year-old woman from south London.
Sheila Poupard was last seen at 11:00 yesterday at Bingham Road, in Croydon, and was last spoken to on the phone at 16.00.
Ms Poupard is known to frequent the Addiscombe Tram Stop, London Rail Routes and the National Theatre.
Calvin Tudor, 21, is accused of killing Che Labastide-Wellington (pictured), 17, in Kenton, north-west London.
Che, of Harrow, was knifed in the chest in an alley close to where the party was taking place, in Belvedere Way, in the early hours of Sunday.
Mr Tudor, of Kelly Close, Neasden, north-west London, is due before Barkingside Magistrates' Court later.
