A Met police officer who injured six people after the marked car he was driving crashed into a moped in Poplar, east London, has been given a 15-month suspended jail term.
PC Lee Drake, 52, was in the car with a colleague as it jumped a red light on Cotton Street's junction with Poplar High Street in June 2014 before colliding with a moped leaving the 27-year-old rider with serious injuries and injuring four pedestrians with crash debris.
Southwark Crown Court also disqualified Drake from driving for 30 months and fined him £4,200. He will now face internal misconduct proceedings.

The behaviour of psychiatrist Adam Osborne who had a two-year affair with his patient was "profoundly unacceptable", a disciplinary tribunal found, ruling his fitness to practise was impaired by reason of misconduct.
The then married psychiatrist treated the woman, referred to as Patient A, for depression, anxiety and chronic fatigue at a private practice in London, between 2011 and 2014.
The woman also had problems with substance abuse and self-harm. She tried to take her own life two days after Dr Osborne ended their relationship in February last year.
The psychiatrist, who the younger brother of Chancellor George Osborne, could now have sanctions on his registration, suspended or even struck off by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service.
Arsenal's largest shareholder Stan Kroenke has bought a Texas ranch worth about £500m.

In Enfield and Ponders End, Great Cambridge Road southbound is blocked, and there is queueing traffic due to accident investigation work between Lincoln Road and Crawley Road and Bury Street.
There is also ongoing congestion on Great Cambridge Road to Carterhatch Lane since 15:30.
The Duchess of Cornwall has visited the Royal Trinity Hospice in Clapham, south London, to mark its 125th anniversary.
On a tour of the facility Camilla met patients and staff and took in art, physio and aromatherapy sessions for patients.
Speaking about her husband's art skills, the Duchess said: "He's so good I get frustrated and give up," and that sitting next to him as they both painted left her wanting to "tip out my toys from the pram".
Camilla is a patron of the oldest hospice in the country, which was founded in 1891.
A further six planned strikes from March by maintenance workers in a row over safety is still in place, RMT union general secretary Mick Cash said.
He said the union has secured "a two-week block on these track access changes to allow for a comprehensive safety review prior to a return to Acas".
"The dispute remains live, further strike action remains in place from early March and action short of a strike also remains in force".
Strike dates
London Underground said it welcomed the union's decision to suspend the strike and allow further talks.
Steve Griffiths, Chief Operating Officer at London Underground, said: "Safety is always our top priority and we have robust and comprehensive procedures in place to ensure that any staff working on the track are kept safe."

Transport for London today confirmed that they have abandoned the £85 million Boris Flyover scheme, external they proposed for the A232 Croydon Road where it meets the Purley Way.
Instead, they want to widen a road bridge over the railway line at Waddon Station, turn Epsom Road into a two-way route, and transform the notorious traffic jam that is Fiveways junction into Fourways.

Black Cab demo, external: Whitehall & Strand have re-opened but delays remain for Parliament Sq, Trafalgar Sq, Lambeth, St James's and Holborn.
It's reported 8,000 black cab drivers blockaded roads in central London to protest over a lack of regulation of companies like Uber and unregulated cabbies.
Roads were brought to a standstill a mile either side of Whitehall as five different groups representing the city's 25,000 drivers joined together to demonstrate.
Brian Garvey, vice chair of the United Cabbie Group, said: "We are professionals, we know the streets of London better than the police and ambulance.
"All this is about protecting our profession. We know how to block the streets because we know London and can be strategic in what we do."
A High Court bid to ban US Presidential hopeful Donald Trump from entering the UK for two years has failed.
Kamran Malik and his east London-based Communities United Party moved the court after Mr Trump's comments about parts of London being so "radicalised" that police feared going there.
The group is also seeking £10m damages against him for allegedly defaming Muslims living in the Green Street and Romford Road area of Forest Gate, and the claim has been sent to the billionaire's US office.
Dismissing Mr Malik's application, Mr Justice Dove said it was made without notice and on the basis that it was urgent - but there was no suggestion of an immediate visit from Mr Trump.
The drugs incident took place when psychologist Helen Winter bumped into two clients while on a night out with a teacher friend in Vauxhall.
The panel's chairwoman Penny Griffith said Dr Winter had breached professional boundaries on more than one occasion:
"The conduct was extremely serious, demonstrated a failure to maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries, and was a significant breach of trust, particularly given the vulnerability of the young people concerned."
But "the risk of repetition was very low" and there was "heartfelt remorse" from the psychologist.
"To impose the more restrictive sanction of striking off the register would be punitive and disproportionate at this stage," Ms Griffith added.
A psychologist at Kids Company who was found to have given illegal drugs to one of the charity's vulnerable young clients has been banned for practising for 12 months.
A Health and Care Professions Council panel heard Helen Winter gave MDMA, the active ingredient in ecstasy, to a client in a Vauxhall nightclub toilet in 2014.
A planned strike by London Underground maintenance workers on Friday in a row over safety has been called off, said the RMT union.
Residents in Southwark can swim and use the gym in all leisure centres in the borough for free every Friday and on weekends, external, the council has said.
The scheme will be available from July and after 14:00 on Fridays and the weekends and comes after a pilot last year.
Councillor Barrie Hargrove, cabinet member for public health, parks and leisure said the scheme was a "fantastic way of tackling the cost barrier holding the majority of people back" from getting active.

Junior doctors formed a human chain as they marched on parliament during a 24-hour strike over pay and conditions.
Actor Martin Clunes has written a letter to Met Police Commissioner Bernard hogan-Howe urging him to catch the killer who "massacred" 35 cats in Croydon.
Writing on behalf of the animal rights group Peta, external the Doc Martin star said: "As someone who shares my home with several four-legged companions, I read with horror that some of the cats had been decapitated, disembowelled or dismembered – this is the stuff of nightmares.
"No one feels safe while this sick individual is on the loose."
The star, who went to school in Croydon, asked officers to re-examine CCTV footage in the borough to catch the criminal.
