London Mayor Sadiq Khan has emphasized his support for Gatwick Airport, saying: "I don't want to hear more warm words from Heathrow. Gatwick is the solution."
"Unlike Boris Johnson, I am not anti-Heathrow," he said.
"But keep it as it is and get the growth from Gatwick."

The club say they are "deeply saddened" by the death of the England youth international, who had been at the club since the age of 13.
Adeniran-Olule, who played three first-team games for Harlequins, represented England at Under-16, Under-18 and Under-20 level.
Three people have been arrested for conspiracy to murder a father-of-three who was shot dead on his driveway in Hillingdon last year.
Redwan El-Ghaidouni, 38, was shot eight times through his car window.

The Old Bailey has heard how Ben Butler, who is accused of murdering his six-year-old daughter Ellie, met a psychologist in 2004 after assaulting a man in a nightclub.
Dr Tim Green interviewed Mr Butler over four hours after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a man in Kingston upon Thames 12 years ago.
The psychologist wrote that Mr Butler found it "difficult to control his violence when he felt humiliated" and "historically would become angry and punch people".
In his report, he wrote: "He (Mr Butler) stated that he had in the past hoped that situations might present themselves where he could engage in violence."
A father accused of beating to death his six-year-old daughter in a fit of rage admitted getting into fights as a way to "improve his mood", a court hears.

Sadiq Khan stood down from the position after he won the vote to become London mayor.
The Tories are said to believe they have a chance of winning the seat as Mr Khan only had a majority of 2,842 when he won back in 2015.
