    On the roads, flooding on the A3 at Hook and at Tolworth Underpass is causing traffic to move slowly through in the area. 

    But all lanes are now open on A40 Westway at Paddington Slip, but that lane closure caused long delays all morning.

    It said it would reduce night flights and curb both noise and pollution - all suggestions which the independent Davies Commission recommended if the airport was to expand. 

    This was to mitigate the impact on the local environment.

    On the DLR, there is no service Deptford Bridge to Lewisham due to flooding after a river burst its banks.

    There are minor delays from Tower Gateway to Beckton due to an earlier faulty train at Shadwell.

    On the Bakerloo Line, there is no service from Elephant & Castle to Piccadilly Circus due to a fire alert at Waterloo.There are minor delays on the rest of the line.

    The Woolwich Ferry is currently suspended due to fog.

    There are reports that the weather conditions are affecting flights to and from London City Airport. Passengers should check the status of their flight before travelling.

    A burst water main at Victoria has caused flooding affecting Southern and Gatwick Express services in and out of the station.

    On Southeastern, there are delays London bound at Swanley due to a signalling problem.

    On South West Trains, the service has been suspended between Shepperton and Fulwell due to flooding at Fulwell.

    Southern is running a reduced service at Victoria due to staff sickness.

    It is a misty and murky start to the day for many of us with outbreaks of rain at first, and showers developing later. These showers may turn heavy at thundery at times.

    It'll be largely cloudy, although brighter conditions will feed into eastern parts such as Dartford during the early afternoon. 

    The maximum temperature will be 19C (66F)

  7. Traffic update: Flooding causing severe delayspublished at 08:06 British Summer Time 11 May 2016

    Earlier flooding on the A20 at Loampit Vale, Lewisham is causing severe delays this morning after the Ravensbourne River burst its banks

    The road was closed both ways between Jerrard Street and Lewisham roundabout due to severe flooding.  

    It has now reopened but there are long delays.
