    Fabric, one of the UK's best known nightclubs will close permanently after having its licence revoked.

    Islington Council, external ruled a "culture of drugs" existed at the venue and it could no longer operate.

    The club was closed temporarily earlier this year after the deaths of two teenagers and the Metropolitan Police, external claimed keeping Fabric open would cause further drug-related deaths.

    Fabric co-founder Cameron Leslie said he was "gutted" at the decision and other DJs have come out in support of the club.

    The A205 at Brownhill Road (South Circular) in Catford is closed and there are delays westbound from the Bowness Road junction to Catford Gyratory, because of a gas leak and emergency repairs. Diversions are in place for bus 202, at Verdant Lane.  

    And there is queuing traffic on the A316 The Avenue into town in London at the Twickenham Bridge junction due to roadworks area.
