Fabric, one of the UK's best known nightclubs will close permanently after having its licence revoked.
Islington Council, external ruled a "culture of drugs" existed at the venue and it could no longer operate.
The club was closed temporarily earlier this year after the deaths of two teenagers and the Metropolitan Police, external claimed keeping Fabric open would cause further drug-related deaths.
Fabric co-founder Cameron Leslie said he was "gutted" at the decision and other DJs have come out in support of the club.
