    Police are trying to track down a man who slashed a woman across the bottom with a "sharp object" in central London.

    The victim, a woman in her 20s, was entering a flat on Craven Terrace, Westminster, at about 20:45 GMT on 28 October when a man came up behind her and cut her before fleeing the scene.

    Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

    The woman had to have hospital treatment for the superficial wound. Police said the assault has had a "significant impact" on her.

    Police believe the incident was a random attack and are urging anyone who can identify the man in the image to come forward.

    Stormzy will be Glastonbury's first grime headliner, with a Pyramid Stage slot confirmed for 2019.

    The news first broke via a poster in an Oxfam shop in Streatham - close to the star's childhood home - and one in Glastonbury.

    Stormzy, from Croydon, south London, confirmed the news via a post on Instagram.

    He headlined this summer's Wireless Festival and has played Glastonbury festival twice before in the Sonic Tent in 2016 and the Other Stage in 2017.

    Four fire engines and 25 firefighters have been deployed to the blaze on Browning Avenue in Worcester Park.

    London Fire Brigade said the cause of the fire in currently not known.

    Two men have been arrested over a fatal stabbing by a playground in a busy London park.

    Rocky Djelal was attacked in Southwark Park, Rotherhithe, just before 14:00 GMT on 31 October.

    Paramedics tried to save him but the 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

    A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in south London this morning.

    A second man, 34, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder at another address in south London. Both men remain in custody.

    Mr Djelal was the first of five people to be killed in a spate of stabbings between 31 October and 5 November.

    His "broken-hearted" family said he was "a father who was idolised by his daughter, a brother who was loved dearly and an uncle, nephew and friend who was loved and respected".

    A 17-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being stabbed repeatedly in south-east London.

    Police found the victim with multiple wounds after being called by the London Ambulance Service to Briset Road in Eltham, Greenwich, at about 22:25 GMT yesterday.

    London's Air Ambulance also attended.

    The Met said the boy is in a critical but stable condition.

    No one has been arrested, officers added.

    Properties are taking longer to sell than a year ago, analysis suggests, at an average of more than three months in urban areas of the UK.

    Homes in cities and major towns were on the market for 102 days on average before being sold or put under offer.

    This was six days longer than in 2017, according to the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR).

    Homes in London, where the market has slowed considerably recently, took an average of 126 days to sell.

    Selling periods ranged from an average of 39 days in Edinburgh to 131 days in Blackpool.

    Delays and some cancellations on Great Western Railway between Ealing Broadway and London Paddington due to broken down train. The high speed line is blocked.

    There are Delays of up to 10 minutes on South Western Railway between Wimbledon and Clapham Junction due to track fault. Trains are running at a reduced speed.

    And fg is currently affecting flights at London City and Gatwick Airports. The advice for passengers is to check in as normal.
