    Fire fighters are tackling house fire in Southgate.

    London Fire Brigade say 40 fire fighters are dealing with the blaze, which has spread to the roof of a house on Cheyne Walk.

    The Brigade were called at 1055 GMT. Six engines from Southgate, Edmonton and Enfield fire stations are attending the incident.

    The cause of the blaze is still unknown.

    The footage, which was recorded near Blackfriars on 23 July, showed a pedestrian being pushed into traffic by another man.

    Police said the attach happened after the men had "brushed shoulders and exchanged words".

    Nick Hurd has been appointed Minister for London, replacing Jo Johnson who resigned over Breixt negotiations last week.

    Mr Hurd will take on the role alongside his responsibilities as Home Office Minister for Policing and Fire Services.

    He is MP for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner in the capital's north west, and son of former Foreign Secretary Lord Hurd.

    Mr Johnson, who voted to remain in the EU in the 2016 referendum, stood down as Theresa May's prospective deal with Brussels was being presented to Cabinet ministers.
