London has six out of the 10 worst boroughs in the UK for fly-tipping, figures have revealed.

Councils recorded 997,553 incidents of illegal dumping, an average of more than 2,700 a day.
It was a slight decrease on the 1,011,000 incidents in 2016-17 and the first time the figure has dropped since 2013.
The government said two-thirds of fly-tipping involved household waste.

Councillor John Fuller said: “These kids will learn something new. Things that they didn’t think achievable for them.
"No child will miss out – it’s a new challenge that will encourage them to get their parents out there too.”
Schools are currently piloting the programme which will then be rolled out next year, the Local Democracy Reporting Service said.
