Police are appealing for information after a robbery at a shop in Grange Lane Stores in Gateacre.
A man armed with a knife, entered the shop at 18:50 last Wednesday and forced staff to open the till. He took a quantity of cash and also stole the staff member’s silver and rose gold Marc Jacobs watch.
Police say he left the shop on a push bike and was last seen heading towards the loop line in the direction of South Station Road.
The man is described as being dressed in dark clothing with his face partially covered and his hood up. He was wearing a glove on his right hand but not his left.
Chester FC recorded a pre-tax profit of £98,730 for the 2014-15 season, external, it has been revealed.
Knowsley Council is to scrap CCTV monitoring and security services in Huyton town centre.
The authority says it can't afford to provide the same level of service as it once did, as it deals with a budget shortfall of £34m over the next two years.

Chester's MP says he was "prevented" from doing his constituency duties when he was barred from a court room on Friday.
Labour's Chris Matheson told the House of Commons last night that he had been "prevented by the actions of public officials" from performing his duties as a constituency MP when he was barred from entering a case involving "40 to 50 of my constituents" at Manchester Civil Justice Centre.
He said he was told he could not enter and the police had been called and so he had left, adding: "I believe that the officials of the court, knowing that I was a member of parliament, denied me the opportunity to support my constituents".
Commons Speaker John Bercow said while he hadn't been there, he was "personally... very sympathetic to you and I think it is very regrettable that you have had to bring the matter to the House".

New inquests into the deaths of 96 fans at the Hillsborough disaster have cost more than £14m so far.
The amount, detailed by the Ministry of Justice, external, covers 169 days of hearings since a jury began hearing evidence in the specially-built courtroom in Warrington on 31 March 2014.
The largest expense has been almost £6m for the coroner's legal team.
Legal fees for bereaved families have not been included in the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) figures for the 12 month period until March 2015.
Warrington Borough Council has rejected an appeal urging it to reveal which locations have been considered or voted on as a potential transit site for travellers., external

Research by the CIES Football Observatory, external has thrown up some interesting facts about Liverpool's two Premier League sides.
The study found Liverpool had one of the youngest squads, with an average age of 25, while Everton has the shortest team, with an average height of 180.5cm.

A drug dealer who kept heroin worth £195,000 in a safe at his St. Helens home has been jailed.
Anthony Simpson was arrested after a police locksmith broke open the safe during a raid at his home in Thackray Road in August.
He later admitted possession of heroin with intent to supply and was jailed for five years four months at Liverpool Crown Court.
The "deterioration of the road surface" means essential work is needed and the bus stops on Sir Thomas Street will be closed from Sunday, external, Merseytravel say.

An elderly woman has been taken to hospital following an accident involving a bus on Elliot Street in Liverpool city centre.
It happened at about 12:40 - Great Charoltte Street and Elliot Street are currently closed.

The brother of a man who died at the Hillsborough disaster in 1989 has reacted to the news that the Ministry of Justice has so far spent £14m on the new Hillsborough inquests, external.
Steve Kelly, whose brother Michael died in the disaster, said: “If we had had what we considered to be the truth and justice all those years ago, these [hearings] wouldn't be occurring at this point in time."
