    The teenager who died after being shot in Liverpool yesterday has been named locally as Lewis Dunne.

    The 16-year-old was found on a towpath near Burrows Court, Eldonian Village, in the Vauxhall area of the city, by a member of the public at about 23:10 on Sunday.

    Burrows Court has been closed off to allow forensic examinations to be carried out and police divers are searching the canal next to the towpath for evidence.
