Seven charities are to share £1.6m of Big Lottery funds to help disadvantaged young people into work.
Project leaders The Matthew Project, external, along with YMCA Norfolk, external, ACE, external, NANSA, external, Norwich and Central Norfolk Mind, external, Gyros, external and the Princes' Trust, external, have secured the money from the Building Better Opportunities programme, which is supported by the Big Lottery Fund.
It's the first time the charities have worked together on such a large sale, and they say the funding will create up to 12 new jobs.
The aim is to help improve the lives of young people who face severe barriers into education, training and employment.
