Parts of England already battered by Storm Angus have seen roads shut and trains diverted due to extra flooding.
While Northampton seems to have got away without the worst, I was greeted by this bizarre scene at St Michael's car park...

England cricket captain Alistair Cook said that Ben Duckett's poor form in India is "just one of those hurdles as an international cricketer you've got to handle", adding the team have "got to give him all the support we can".
Cook said the Northamptonshire batsman "can play", but it's "a big step up" from county cricket to Test matches.
England coach Trevor Bayliss echoed those comments, saying:"Ben Duckett has probably worked harder than anyone else in the nets, but it shows it is a long way between county cricket and Test match cricket."
Duckett shone with the bat for Northants last season, clocking up 1,338 runs in 14 matches, with an average of 60.

There was one lighter moment in the 1-0 win for Peterborough over Northampton Town at Sixfields on Saturday.
Midfielder Michael Bostwick played a pass out to what he thought was one of his team-mates, but the ball rolled out of play because rather than being a Posh player, it was a stadium steward.
You can see how, given The Posh away kit, he got confused...
You can check out the incident in question on Peterborough's YouTube, external channel.
It's not the first time Peterborough's kit has got them into a spot of bother. Their bunny mascot got a ticking off in the Bolton match too last week...

Northampton central defender Zander Diamond fractured his cheekbone in three places during Saturday's home defeat to Peterborough and is seeing a specialist today, according to manager Rob Page.
Diamond left the field after just 25 minutes and the Cobblers went on to lose 1-0, with Peterborough's Chris Forrester scoring in the second minute of stoppage time at Sixfields.
Page told me Diamond could be out for up to six weeks.

One of the organisers of the traffic survey in Isham said he had a meeting with local MP Peter Bone on Friday, describing him as "very helpful".
But Graham Rait said Northamptonshire County Council told him it is "pursuing the project but there are no funds available". It's confirmed that to us too.
As you can see above, Isham gets the brunt of traffic travelling between Wellingborough and Kettering. A survey carried out earlier this month found a 40% increase in traffic compared to the same time last year.
Mr Rait told us he fears a warehouse development planned nearby and more houses near Cranford will bring even more cars and lorries through the village, turning it into "one large car park".

People living in the village of Isham say a recent traffic count showed more than 26,000 vehicles passing through the village in the space of 24 hours - a 40% increase on last year.
A bypass has been planned for Isham, but Northamptonshire County Council hasn't yet been able to fund the project.

Ex-England skipper Michael Vaughan said the 22-year-old Northants batsman had been "thrown in at the deep end" against India and his place was now under threat.
Vaughan told the BBC he expected Duckett to be dropped for the next Test, which starts in Mohali on Saturday.

Burton Latimer's Charley Hull has won the CME Group Tour Championship by two shots to earn her first LPGA title.
The 20-year-old, who plays golf out of Woburn, finished on a tournament record 19 under par to beat South Korea's Ryu So-yeon.
Hull started the final round with a one-shot lead and shot six birdies in her bogey-free round, for a six-under-par 66 at the Florida course.
"It's wicked to do it at 20," she said. "It feels good to be joining the winners this year."

BBC Test Match Special
India bowled England out for 158 to complete a 246-run win in the second Test on the fifth day in Visakhapatnam.
Northamptonshire's Ben Duckett was out for a duck - removed for the third time in succession by Ashwin, somehow gloving an awful short delivery into his thigh pad to be caught by wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha.
The 22-year-old's position in the England side is now under threat.
"Duckett has talent, but he's anxious and tense," said former England batsman Geoffrey Boycott. "They need to find someone else for the next Test. That doesn't mean his career is over, but he needs a break."

Plans to build 139 homes on green fields in Northampton are set to be approved by councillors.
Xcite Projects and Bovis Homes have put in an application for the 12-acre (5ha) site by Lancaster Way, off Towcester Road.
The firms want to build 42 two-bed, 56 three-bed and 41 four-bed homes.
A report to the borough council's planning committee, which meets on Tuesday, said it fits in with the authority's need for more housing land.
Officers are recommending approval on condition developers pay for a new primary school and make a payment towards infrastructure costs.
The report said 35% of the homes on the site should be "affordable".
