    There's not a lot of love on Facebook, external for a possible tram link between Nottingham and Derby.

    Louise Clark wrote: "The train already links the two, as well as multiple bus routes. Is it really needed?"

    And Susan Margaret asked: "What do we need a tram for? It will take ages to get there!"

    However Isabel Mason is in favour: "I for one welcome investing in trams ...more train lines too !!! I do think a good public transport system is essential for the future."

    Campaigners in the Notts village of Gotham are raising money to help save a community building - and they hope Batman fans will come to the rescue.

    The Royal British Legion club closed at the end of January.

    The village is historically connected to the fictional Gotham City of the Batman comics and films.

    John Anderson, chairman of the Gotham & District Community Venture committee said: "It would be fantastic to hear from any American friends of Gotham who might also invest in this exciting venture."
