    Bosses said the meetings were a chance for them to hear the concerns of residents and gather feedback to help them learn from the incident.

    Ch Insp Phil Davis from Nottinghamshire Police said the discovery of a body in a Gedling park, on Saturday, is a "very, very rare incident".

    He said: "Normally people who pass away in public spaces, they're with friends or with other people who know them or we can identify them very quickly because of items they have on them.

    "So it's very rare and what we want to do is try to identify this man very quickly and return him to his friends and relatives."

    Police have told u, externals Jason Zadrozny, 35, of Sutton Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, has been charged with three counts of rape of a male under the age of 16, and four counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16 between 2 September 2003 and 30 April 2004.

    As well as those charges, he has also been charged with three counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a boy aged 13 to 15 between 1 May 2004 and 30 September 2006.

    Harry Whitehouse lives more than 100 miles away in Scarborough and said he spoke to the ambulance crew on the phone - but they did not know which hospital they were taking her to.

    When he could not find her he called BBC Radio Nottingham, who traced Margaret to the Queen's Medical Centre. 

    Mr Whitehouse said staff had told him three times his mother was not there.     

    EMAS is yet to respond.

    But the real survivor was their pet dog, Marley, who was sleeping on the front room sofa.

    The police told Gary had any of the family been there at the time, they could have been killed.  

    Two people have been arrested over the crash.

    Harry Whitehouse said his mother, Margaret, had been "lost" for 18 hours after she was taken to hospital after a fall at home,

    He said it was "just absolutely bonkers" that East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) couldn't tell him where she was.

    He said he called all the hospitals in Nottinghamshire, where Mrs Whitehouse lives, but all of them said she was not there. 

    That's when he contacted BBC Radio Nottingham and EMAS eventually told him where his 91-year-old mother was.

    Ch Insp Phil Davis said the body of a man had been undiscovered at Gedling County Park for "a few days".

    He said they were still unsure of the man's age and medical experts were working to help identify him and confirm how he died.

    All last week BBC Radio Nottingham was asking people to count their steps - whether it was taking the dog out or walking as part of their day job.

    Staff here got a little competitive with their counting and it seems a lot of you did too.

    Garry Shannon said he had been sleeping when he heard "an almighty bang".

    He said: "I looked out the window. My wall had gone missing and there was a car at my front door."
