  2. Travel: Bus replacement service between Nottingham and Granthampublished at 09:19 Greenwich Mean Time 24 March 2016

    It'll be at least another hour before the line reopens at Bingam and trains can run normally between Nottingham and Grantham.

    Some trains on the Liverpool Lime Street/Nottingham/Norwich route will be unable to run whilst others will be diverted but delayed by 20 minutes. 

    All trains on the Nottingham/Grantham/Skegness route cannot run and will be subject to short notice cancellations and alterations in both directions between Nottingham and Grantham.

    A replacement bus service will run both directions between Nottingham and Grantham for customers travelling to stops between those two stations.

    Normal service is expected to resume at about 10:30.

    Thieves have stolen signalling cables from the railway line at Bingham, between Nottingham and Grantham. 

    It's causing disruption on services on the Liverpool Lime Street/Nottingham/Norwich and Nottingham/Grantham/Skegness routes, East Midlands Trains has said.

    The line is closed while Network Rail works to restore the signalling system, it said, external.

    Nottinghamshire's football clubs have a 17:00 deadline today if they want to add to their squads. 

    It's the final day of the transfer window and after today, Forest, Notts and Mansfield won't be able to sign players on loan. 

    The Magpies are expected to be the busiest of our local sides.

    The desperate search for Nottingham man, David Dixon, who disappeared on the morning of the Brussels terrorist attacks continues into a third day. 

    The 51-year-old IT programmer was on his way to work when a bomb exploded on the Metro system.
