BBC News OnlineSarah Jayne O'Kane from Severn Trent has been telling BBC Radio Nottingham they are not sure why the pipe in Station Road, Plumtree has burst again (It happened again in July) but she said they would investigate.
She said: "When it happens more than once it could mean the pipes might be old and need replacing.
"We will try to come up with a solution to make sure it doesn't happen again."

The 19-year-old victim is still receiving treatment at the QMC although police said his injuries "are not life-threatening or altering".

Well the fire service says it has finally finished putting out the fire and is handing the site over to the on-site contractors.

It said water should now be restored to most properties but repairs need to be carried out on the road before it can reopen.

With two months left to go until the end of her challenge she said she was not sure why she even started it.
"The record itself just appealed to me....It has been really hard," she said.
"I've taken a sabbatical off work and have done nothing else all year - it's become my life now."

Kajsa Tylen from Nottingham spoke to BBC Radio Nottingham earlier about her world record attempt to cycle the furthest distance by a woman in a year.
She's trying to cycle 36,000 miles and started her challenge in January.

Those with unusually high death rates were put in "special measures" and for Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust it meant talk of takeover, big management changes and a dent to morale at a time when hospitals are competing to keep and attract staff.
It has been a long three years getting out of special measures which involved extra oversight scrutiny and uncertainty of the future. This is the start of a new chapter.

Image source, Network RailNetwork Rail said a piece of cable "came into contact with the overhead wires" yesterday afternoon and caused a power failure as well as damaging the signalling equipment.
Managing director, Rob McIntosh, said engineers had been working through the night to fix the damage, external, but they "cannot say how long that work will take".
