There are more big problems on trains services between Nottingham and London today - after problems with overhead cables further down the line. 

East Midlands Trains is running a revised timetable - with just one service an hour running directly to the capital.

A poor start to the day.

Cold, cloudy and wet with a band of rain, sleet and some wet snow (mostly over higher routes but some “sleety-ness” to lower levels).

Station Road in Plumtree is closed this morning because of a burst water main near the Main Road and Bradmore Lane junctions. 

Severn Trent says its teams are in the area , externalto get the pipe fixed.
