    We've already heard that Mansfield Town manager Adam Murray isn't a fan of the EFL trophy.

    But Nottingham Forest's academy manager Gary Brazil thinks it is a good bridge to first-team football for younger players.

    With Forest not being a Category One academy, they were not invited to enter the competition, but Brazil admits they would have been interested in taking part.

    Station Road in Plumtree remains shut because of this burst water pipe.

    Severn Trent says engineers are working to repair the pipe, external and have managed to get the water supply restored for some customers.

    The company said it hoped to have everyone's supplies back to normal very soon.

    Nottinghamshire Police have put out an interview with the niece of missing woman Karen Black.  

    Roxanne Davis (pictured) said: "It is mind-blowing. You can't imagine that someone in your family could just one day be there and then the next minute you don't know what has happened to them."

    "No one in the family can be at peace with it because we don't know what to think, whether she is alive or something bad has happened to her - it is just awful."

    Just spoke to Graham Sharpe from William Hill who told us about the Nottingham man putting a £37,000 bet on Trump winning.

    He said all he knows is that it was a man in his 30s who put two bets on - one at £15,000 - and then went back half an hour later and put on a further £22,000.

    Mansfield Town CEO Carolyn Radford has been talking about sexist abuse she has received during her time in football.

    She said women have to be thick-skinned to not be affected by the "hostile territory" and taunts from male supporters.

    The South Wolds Academy and sixth form is closed today to all students because of the burst water main. 

     Keyworth Primary, Crossdale Primary and Willow Brook Primary are also shut.

    Four people from Cleethorpes were arrested over the murder of Karen Black in July but they were all released without charge.

    Det Insp Andy Bateman from Nottinghamshire Police said the arrests had identified further areas of enquiries and they hoped Ms Davis's appeal would see someone come forward with more information.

    The niece of a woman from Worksop has made an emotional appeal for information on the 10th anniversary of her disappearance., external

    Karen Black went missing in Cleethorpes between 9 and 10 November, 2006 and a murder inquiry was launched in July this year.

    Mansfield Town are through to the knockout stages of the EFL Trophy after a last minute 3-2 win against Derby County's Academy side at the iPro Stadium.

    The Stags were 2-0 up after Ashley Hemmings and Darius Henderson scored in the first five minutes but they needed Chris Clements to win the game for them in stoppage time.

    Commuters from Nottingham have been advised to travel via Grantham.

    Railway passengers trying to get to London will face major delays today.

    It's because of a power failure with overhead cables in Luton.

    The issue caused delays of up to 90 minutes on the trains yesterday afternoon and Network Rail says engineers are still working to repair the cables.

    One student from Michigan told him he was surprised to see the state, which is traditionally blue, had turned red, and he was "curious to see what the future holds for America".
