    Missing 13-year-old Thomas Welch has been found safe and well, police have said.

    He went missing from the St Ann's area on Sunday night.

    The Magpies were beaten 4-0 by Blackpool and tonight take on Boreham Wood in an FA Cup second round replay at Meadow Lane.

    Mansfield Town begin their search for a new manager this morning, with former Rotherham and Leeds United boss Steve Evans the early odds-on favourite to replace Adam Murray. 

    Murray left the club last night after almost two years in charge - ending a 14-year association with Mansfield.

    But there's still no clarity on where the line will go through Long Eaton, just over the Derbyshire border.

    The government says it's still consulting on this.

    Andrew Jones, the HS2 minister, said they were still deciding whether it would be an elevated line or a tunnel.

    There had been plans for a tunnel under East Midlands Airport as part of the HS2 route but they've been scrapped.

    And there's expected to be more planning to come - while it will take 51 minutes to get from the new station at Toton to London Euston, it currently takes about half an hour to get from there into Nottingham.

    Coming up with different ways to connect the city, as well as areas like Mansfield and Ashfield, to the station are next on the agenda.

    HS2. Remember that?

    Today the government has confirmed the route of the northern section of the high-speed rail line, which will pass through Nottinghamshire.

    As expected, the track will split north of Birmingham, with lines going to Manchester and Leeds - it's that leg that will pass through Nottinghamshire, with the East Midlands hub at Toton.
