Parts of Holme Pierrepoint and Colwick are without power for the second morning in a row - with around 100 properties affected.
One resident has told BBC Radio Nottingham a temporary generator, brought in yesterday morning, brought the power back but it has failed this morning.
Western Power's website says it should be fixed by noon.
