    Investigations will start this morning into the cause of a fire at a derelict shop at Canning Circus in Nottingham last night.

    The fire closed Alfreton Road for the evening rush hour and caused long delays around the city for motorists and bus passengers.

    The Tunisia terror attack inquest will hear evidence later relating to the death of John Stollery, a Nottinghamshire social worker.

    Mr Stollery, 58, from Walesby, was one of 30 UK holidaymakers killed by a gunman near Sousse.

    The inquest at the Royal Courts of Justice in London will try to establish exactly what happened and if any lessons can be learnt.

    Mr Stollery's wife Cheryl and son Matt said in a statement that he inspired many people through his "strength of character" and "wicked sense of humour".
