A community defibrillator has gone missing in Bingham.
An ambulance crew last used it on 8 October but nobody has seen it since.
It is usually kept in the telephone kiosk in the Market Place but Martin Fagan from the Community Heartbeat Trust says it hasn't been returned.
Mr Fagan said: "It is really important that we get it back because that device needs recommissioning and making sure that it is ready and available...it is a device that could save someone's life."
The machine is used to deliver a therapeutic shock to the heart and treat conditions that affect the rhythm of the heart such as a cardiac arrest.

Parliament not getting a vote on the government's final Brexit deal would be "clearly unacceptable," according to a prominent Conservative MP.
Nicky Morgan, MP for Loughborough, was responding to comments from Brexit secretary David Davis, who said any deal may not be done until the "59th minute of the 11th hour".
"It would be completely pointless to have such a vote at that stage and so it is clearly unacceptable," Ms Morgan told the Daily Politics on BBC Two.
The former education secretary added that she was confident Theresa May would make sure the UK and European Parliament would "have time" to vote on any deal.
The government agreed earlier this year to give Parliament a "meaningful" say on the outcome of the current negotiations but Downing Street has not said when it will be.
