    Def Leppard are to perform their bestselling Hysteria album in its entirety at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena later this year.

    The album was a huge hit when it was released in 1987 and features some of their best known singles, including Animal and Pour Some Sugar On Me.

    Tickets for the 18 December concert go on sale a week today, with prices starting from £42.

    A second man has been charged over the death of a man found in a street with a fatal stab wound.

    Mark Swinhoe, 38, from Long Eaton, Derbyshire, died at the scene on Moira Street, Loughborough, Leicestershire, in the early hours of Sunday.

    Harry Matthews, 22, of Loughborough, has been charged with conspiracy to murder, wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article.

    Christopher Cunningham-Pithouse, 23, of Queniborough, was charged on Wednesday.

    Cuts to services in Derbyshire will still be made despite taxpayers facing their biggest council tax rise in 15 years.

    The Conservative run county council says it needs to make cuts to school crossing patrols, libraries, road gritting and services for people with learning difficulties.

    He added: "There are challenges involved with the council tax - we inherited a budget from the previous administration, along with their 5-year plan, which we have to follow through with."

    Sharon Whitford's son Marc Maltby killed himself just days after starting a four-month sentence at Nottingham Prison last year - the fifth death there in a month.

    She told Radio 4's Today programme her son told her conditions were "horrible", with prisoners harming themselves, not getting food on time, living in "mucky" cells and not having attention paid to them by guards.

    "It was uncontrollable - people were taking drugs, they were easy to get, and basically nobody really cared," she said.

    Ms Whitford explained there was "no indication" over how vulnerable her son's mental health was, and she is still waiting to find out the full details of how he died.

    "When they're sent to prison it's for their own good and to keep them out of trouble and to keep them out of danger," she said.

    "Obviously that's not being done, because my son's not coming home."

    Buxton Mountain Rescue has revealed how it helped find a man who'd gone missing on Scafell Pike during last weekend's bad weather.

    Richard Cockerham, 29, spent two nights on England's highest mountain in sub-zero temperatures after going missing on Sunday.

    Richard - who was later treated for suspected wrist fractures - was found on Tuesday when a dog patrol passed close by.

    Rescuers credited his continual movement as the reason he survived his ordeal.

    A Nottingham MP says improvements need to be made quickly at Nottingham Prison after the Chief Inspector of Prisons labelled it "fundamentally unsafe".

    Eight inmates are believed to have taken their own lives in the last two years, levels of self-harm have risen significantly, and inspectors say there's evidence of dramatic decline since 2010.

    Chris Leslie, Labour MP for Nottingham East, said he hoped the criticism would lead to swift action.

    He said: "A lot of people will say 'who cares about prisoners? This doesn't really matter' but if you have prisoners that aren't able to be rehabilitated, ultimately they're going to come back into the community and reoffend."

    A driver ended up with a puddle of pig poo in his car after colliding with a tractor in Derbyshire last night.

    Police said, external the unfortunate motorist was overtaking the farm vehicle when they hit the sewage outlet on its trailer, sending a stream of waste pouring into the car through the driver's door.

    Fortunately there were no injuries in the crash, which happened at the A515 roundabout on the A50 near Sudbury - just a nasty pong.

    A week on from the fire at Nottingham railway station, British Transport Police are interviewing commuters, external to see if they can find out any more about how it started.

    Officers say they expect the damage to run into millions of pounds, with a new appeal for mobile phone or dashcam footage in efforts to track down those responsible.

    Detectives investigating the fire have already recovered some "items of interest" which will now be sent for forensic tests and fingerprinting.

    Officers are also trawling through a "significant" amount of CCTV.

    The family of a British backpacker who was found dead in Sydney have said they are "deeply shocked" by her death.

    The body of Amelia Blake, 22, from Loughborough, Leicestershire, was discovered in a flat in the suburb of Newtown on Friday.

    A man in his 30s was also found dead inside, New South Wales Police said.

    Ms Blake's family said the "much loved daughter and sister" would be "truly missed by all who knew her".
