    A Nottinghamshire legend is the inspiration behind the next big thing on the London dining scene.

    Michelin-starred Tom Sellars is opening a pop-up restaurant based around Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest.

    The Nottingham-born chef's venture, called Merry Men, will be open for two-and-a-half weeks in April while his main restaurant is being refurbished.

    Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a property in North Kilworth.

    The building in question is a converted residential barn on Green Lane.

    The fire is on the first floor of the property.

    An artist has been told to pay for the privilege of using an iconic Leicestershire landmark in her paintings if she wants to keep making money from it.

    Sarah King originally painted Old John at Bradgate Park for an exhibition.

    She decided to turn the image into greetings cards to sell. But she has been told she will have to pay £100 to continue using it in her work.

    Bradgate Park Trust said it registered the landmark as a trademark in 2001, to protect its image from being exploited for private commercial gain.

    It added that there is no restriction on sharing and publishing images of Old John for non-commercial purposes.

    Five people have been arrested during simultaneous raids in Derby and Latvia as part of an investigation into modern slavery and human trafficking.

    Two men and two women were arrested at two houses in Latvia on Tuesday, while a 32-year-old woman was arrested at a house in St James' Road, Normanton.

    A man in his 60s was found living in a shack in the back garden of one of the houses raided in Latvia.

    Six people have already been charged as part of the large-scale operation.

    The result means Aitor Karanka's side have won just once in their past 12 league games.

    Tonight, Derby could move back into the Championship's automatic promotion places with a win against Leeds.

    The result means that Kevin Nolan's promotion-chasing Magpies remain in the play-off places, four points off third place.

    Tributes have been left to a 17-year-old boy, who died a week after being stabbed following a chase.

    Lyrico Steede was attacked by a group in Stock Well, Bulwell, Nottingham, at about 19:30 GMT on 13 February.

    He was taken to hospital and has since died. Police said his family is "devastated by this senseless murder".

    Officers have launched a murder investigation and are appealing for anyone with information or any witnesses to contact them.

    A six-year-old girl has died after being found unresponsive in a Nottinghamshire village.

    Police said she was found at around 15:00 on Monday afternoon on Lincoln Road (pictured) in Tuxford.

    She was taken to Sheffield Children's Hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after.

    Inquiries into the death "are still ongoing," Nottinghamshire Police added.

    Here's how it is looking on the region's roads:

    • One lane of the M1 northbound is closed between J19 (Catthorpe Interchange) and J20 (Lutterworth) due to a collision and spillage.
    • The A17 in Coddington is closed in both directions due to a crash involving two lorries between Stapleford Lane/Beckingham Road and Woodgate Lane.
    • Usual congestion on the M1 into the roadworks on the southbound carriageway at J25 (Nottingham/Derby).
