There's glass scattered across Queen Street in Southwell after the cash machine was targeted by thieves.
It looks like someone has used an explosive on the cash point because it's blown out all the windows of the Post Office next to it.
A butcher at the end of the street said he thinks the raid happened at about 04:30 and that the cash machine had been out of cash around Christmas.
He said it had only recently been filled back up.

Looks like the cash machine at the Post Office in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, was stolen earlier this morning.
Nottinghamshire Police said they were called at about 05:20 to Queen Street.
Police have closed the road because of debris on the ground and damage to the Post Office and said it could be shut for some time.
