A former Nottinghamshire police officer is to appear at a gross misconduct hearing, external on Tuesday.
The former sergeant, who resigned from the force, will appear at the force's headquarters in Arnold to answer an allegation related to discreditable conduct and authority, respect and courtesy.
Nottinghamshire Police said the details of the case would be released after the private hearing.

The 24-year-old Brazilian helped the Black Country side win promotion last season but has found his first-team opportunities limited in the Premier League.
The pet was rescued after it fell through the ice but later died as a result of the freezing cold water.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested over an alleged sexual assault in Derby city centre at the weekend.
The victim told police she was attacked in St Peter's Street at about 05:25 on Saturday.
The suspect, from Derby, was arrested in the city yesterday and has been released on bail while investigations continue.

A dog has died after falling through the ice at a frozen pond at Hardwick Hall Park.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews attempted a rescue after being called to the park at about 12:20 but the small dog died as a result of being in cold water.
Station manager Paul Green said: “This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder to dog owners to keep their dogs safe from danger and on the lead at all times when near water."
