The RSPCA was called to rescue this hedgehog who got tangled in a goal net in Chetwynd Banks, Beeston this morning.
In a statement, the RSPCA said: "Netting can be lethal to wildlife who get caught up in it whilst doing what they do, trundling around, grubbing for food.
"The simple solution to this is when it's not in use, put netting away safe."
The hedgehog has been taken to a sanctuary and is doing well, the charity added.
