There are fears for the future of a Derbyshire centre helping the unemployed and recently redundant after a council confirmed it would be stopping its funding.
North East Derbyshire District Council has been funding the Chesterfield-based Derbyshire Unemployed Worker's Centre since 1987 but all that will end in April.
This is worth £22,000 a year to the organisation.

Colin Hampton, the centre's co-ordinator, said the council "didn't give a passing thought" to the people the centre helps.
He added he plans to appeal the decision, made at a meeting on 5 September.
The authority says it's reviewed its funding of organisations to reflect emerging priorities.
It says it will set up a Community Action Grants Fund open to local groups and remains committed to investing in advice agencies and voluntary sector support bodies.

A man died after he fell from a Derby car park, police have confirmed.

The refurbishment of Derby's Assembly Rooms has been given planning permission.
It removes a major hurdle for the project, which is expected to take longer than originally envisaged.
There were concerns about the impact the renovations would have on the heritage of the area. Planning officials say that harm was outweighed by the benefits to the city centre.

A church, court buildings and a civic centre have joined a knife amnesty across Nottinghamshire.
They include the Mount Zion Apostolic Church in Radford, Nottingham Magistrates' Court, Mansfield Magistrates' Court and Newark & Sherwood District Council's Castle House civic office in Newark.
They will join Nottinghamshire Police and their existing partners to host amnesty bins during the latest operation, which will run from Monday to 22 September.
A total of 635 bladed weapons were handed in at 15 locations during Nottinghamshire's last knife amnesty in March.
Assistant Chief Constable Kate Meynell said: "This will be the third amnesty we have held in 18 months and each time we have seen more weapons handed in.
"We now have so many amnesty bin locations that are in community locations, because we recognise that not everyone feels comfortable visiting police stations."

It's a whizz worthy of Lyle Lanley, but could Derby be about to get its own monorail?
City council leader Chris Poulter says it's a possible way to connect people from the city to HS2, which is set to stop at a hub near Toton, and would be quicker than trams.
He told BBC Radio Derby's Chris Doidge the route could run from the city centre and call in at Pride Park on its way to connect with the proposed high-speed rail project.
Plans for a similar system were discussed more than a decade ago, and Bombardier are building trains for Cairo in Egypt, but does Derby need its own genuine, bona fide, electrified, (possibly) six-car monorail to put the city on the map?
Well, it worked for Brockway, Ogdenville and North Haverbrook...
Quote MessageBombardier here are making monorail carriages for the pyramids, so why can't we have something like that in Derby?"
