A Leicestershire woman who has been helping villagers during the coronavirus outbreak said she felt "hurt and let down" to find all her car tyres slashed.
Helen Crouch, who set up the Bagworth, Thornton and Stanton coronavirus response team, said she helps residents by collecting and dropping off food and prescriptions as well as offering support on the phone.
The 41-year-old, from Bagworth, said she found her car had been vandalised while it was parked on Main Street, in Thornton, between 19:00 on Saturday and 12:00 on Sunday.
"I am a strong person, but I sat and cried. I was angry and frustrated," she said.
Since then, an online fundraising page to replace Ms Crouch's tyres and raise money for the response team has raised more than £1,850.
Ms Crouch said she has been "overwhelmed" by the "generosity and support".
"It's amazing and incredible - proper community spirit," she said.
"I am humbled and proud of the villagers. I want to do more and it's important to carry on."
Leicestershire Police said anyone with information about the damage to Ms Crouch's tyres should contact them on 101.

A force spokesman said: "We've had so many heartfelt social media comments, kind gestures from members of the public when they see our officers on the streets, and an incredible amount of posters and letters sent to both officers at police stations across the county, and to chief officers at our headquarters.
"We'd like to thank them [the pupils] for taking the time to make and send these to us. Assistant chief constable Kem Mehmet really enjoyed reading them."
