Heavy rain led to flooding at the Leicester Royal Infirmary this afternoon.
A hospital trust spokeswoman said the ground floor of the Windsor building was the main area affected.
She added the issue had now been resolved and no patients or staff were harmed.

A 16-year-old boy suffered a broken jaw and needed his teeth wiring together after reportedly being hit in the face with a skateboard.
Nottinghamshire Police said a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent following the attack in Fosse Way, Bingham, on Tuesday night.
The suspect remains in custody while inquiries continue.
The force has appealed for witnesses.
