    Plans to increase the retail space at Bicester Village by almost a quarter have been given the go ahead, external.

    The proposals, which include demolishing the supermarket and part of the outlet, are similar to those approved last summer.

    Nearly a 150 new car parking spaces will be created in the latest plan, as well as 28 new shop units.

    Thames Valley Police issued the second highest number of penalty points for using mobile phones at the wheel, police figures suggest.

    The Metropolitan Police issued the most FPNs - 22,729 - last year, while TVP issued 10,579. Staffordshire Police issued just four fixed penalty notices for mobile phone use last year.

    Overall the number of drivers given penalty points for using mobile phones at the wheel fell by 24% last year in England and Wales.

    Operations Manager Sam Pace told me the fact the awards were decided by members of the public made it even more special.

    She said: "I'm so happy and thrilled. We have a great space and it's a great team effort from our commercial businesses and the Castle Quarter team."

    A playgroup for bereaved parents in Oxfordshire, thought to be the first of its kind, has been launched.

    Lydia Berry has set up the Rainbow Group in the Ace Centre in Chipping Norton, external to help provide support to others after losing her daughter Evelyn shortly after birth.

    She told Kat Orman why it's called Rainbow: "When you talk about a child you've had, after your loss, you call them your rainbow baby. The rainbow after the storm, the sunshine has come out and it's a neat way of describing your children."

    There has been a multi-vehicle accident on the A34 southbound, just before the Milton interchange.

    One lane is closed and there's queuing traffic and long delays back to the Marcham interchange.

    There is also slow traffic heading northbound with people slowing to look at the accident.
