    Oxford University spent more on art over the past five years than any other institution in England.

    The university spent £8.9m, Cambridge was second highest with £5.8m and Oxford Brookes fourth, spending £552,000 between 2010 and 2015.

    The most expensive item bought by Oxford was the Portrait of Mademoiselle Claus by the French impressionist Edouard Manet, which cost £7.9m, of which £5.9m was from the Heritage Lottery Fund and £850,000 from the Art Fund.

    A homeless man says he and other rough sleepers rely on O'Hanlon House in Oxford, which could close if council cuts to a homelessness charity go ahead.

    The county council has admitted cutting its funding to the Oxford Homeless Pathways charity was "not a popular option", but says there will be no final decision until February.

    A man has severe leg injuries after becoming trapped under a dumper truck near Bampton.

    Emergency services were called to Bampton Road in Clanfield at about 17:00 yesterday.

    The 30-year-old man was taken to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital.

    There are delays of more than 35 minutes on the A34 southbound at the Milton Interchange after a four-car collision on the exit slip road.

    More people will end up sleeping rough in Oxford if council cuts to the Oxford Homeless Pathways charity go ahead, its chief executive says.

    • On the A4130 in Milton, one lane is blocked on the exit slip road and there are queues after an accident involving three cars
    • Watlington Street in Nettlebed is blocked in both directions because of a fallen tree

    • It's heavy from Yarnton to Wolvercote on the A44 Woodstock Road
