  1. Oxford United's FA Cup match moved for TV coveragepublished at 15:18

    Oxford United's FA Cup tie against Swansea City has been moved to Sunday 10 January after it was selected for TV coverage by BBC Wales.

    The third round game will kick off at midday at the Kassam Stadium and it's thought the TV coverage is worth £48,000 to the U's.

    The club will open ticket sales online via their website at 17:30 on Tuesday.

    Farmers have issued a warning to dog owners in Oxfordshire about the devastating impact of dog mess on cows.

    A parasite called neospora spreading between animals is a leading cause of abortion in cattle in the UK.

    The chief executive of Southern Health has apologised for the trust's failure to properly investigate deaths in the past - but has said she will not resign. 

    Katrina Percy's insistence that she will continue in her job comes after BBC News revealed more than 1,000 unexpected deaths, of mental health and learning-disability patients, had not been properly investigated by the trust.

    Wildlife campaigners in Bicester say they fear a valuable nature reserve could be destroyed if a new bypass to the south of the town goes ahead.

    Two options are being considered which would link up the old Graven Hill site with the A41, and supporters of the road say it's desperately needed to deal with the traffic.

    Oxford City Council has broken a law against housing homeless families in B&Bs for more than six weeks.

    The local authority says this is due to an "unexpectedly high number" of homeless families in September and high rents charged by private landlords.

    It is the first time it has broken the rule - imposed under government legislation - since 2004.
