    Charlbury Road in Oxford, external has been named as the most expensive address in the county, and the 27th costliest street in England and Wales.

    The research by Lloyds Bank unsurprisingly found the most expensive homes were mostly found in London, with the capital claiming the top 19 places.

  2. Cancer fertility treatment 'put my fears to rest'published at 08:57

    A procedure to improve the fertility of child cancer patients in later life "put fears to rest" of a 13-year-old girl who needed treatment but wants a family in the future.

    Sarah-Jane Weston-Hales says freezing some of her ovarian tissue means she can have children and made her "feel more female".

  3. Poundland murder accused to appear in courtpublished at 08:44

    A 36-year-old man is to appear at Oxford Crown Court today, charged with the murder of a man in Abingdon.

    Trevor Joyce from Franklyn Close in the town is accused of stabbing Justin Skrebowski in Poundland on Monday.

    The 61-year-old victim from Oxford died at the scene.

  5. Fertility boost in child cancer casespublished at 08:16

    All children needing cancer treatment in England and Wales will now be able to have their fertility preserved, thanks to the work of experts in Oxford and a £250,000 donation.

    Chemotherapy and radiotherapy can damage the reproductive organs in girls and boys, with one in 10 undergoing such treatment being left sterile.

    The NHS does not fund the freezing of testicular or ovarian tissue, but the money from fertility firm IVI has helped create a national service.
