The Christmas lights will be switched on in Bridgnorth tonight by the mayor and the carnival queen.
School choirs will perform on stage at Northgate, shops will be open late and there'll be stalls, live reindeer and Father Christmas.
The switch-on is at 18:15.

Allegations that Shropshire Council's leader broke rules about the way the authority does business will be considered by councillors behind closed doors today. Concerns were raised in the summer that Keith Barrow may have failed to comply with Shropshire Council's Code of Conduct.
A report into the matter hasn't been published, and the authority hasn't even confirmed Mr Barrow is under investigation. Officials have so far decided the public interest in keeping quiet outweighs the benefits of publication.
I understand the investigation relates to a contract awarded by the council's company IP&E which Mr Barrow chairs.
