Barnsley fans begin to arrive ahead of celebrations in the townpublished at 17:53 British Summer Time 7 April 2016
Barnsley Council and Barnsley Football Club have invited proud Reds fans to bring some Wembley fever back to the town tonight.
Looks like some have arrived already ahead of the club's appearance on the balcony of the Town Hall which is due to take place at about 18:00 this evening.

Final preparations are under way in Barnsley to celebrate Barnsley FC's success at Wembley.
The team are due to appear on the balcony of the Town Hall later this evening following their 3-2 win against Oxford United in the Johnstone's Paint trophy last weekend.

Latest Tour de France 'legacy' project opens in Doncasterpublished at 17:19 British Summer Time 7 April 2016

Four new community bike hubs have opened today across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
The hubs will be located in at the Doncaster Dome, Selby (pictured below), Leeds and Brigg and are funded by Sport England and delivered by Cycle Yorkshire.
They're intended to be the focal point for a broad spectrum of cycling activity, from informal support and advice to led rides, cycle training and supervised activity.
The ambition is to establish a community bike hub in every Yorkshire local authority by 2017. Sheffield Hallam University has been commissioned to evaluate the success of the project.

Hathersage Road in Sheffield is closed and there is slow traffic in both directions between the A625 Stony Ridge Road junction and the School Lane junction.
It's because of a fuel spillage.

We've been talking today about farmers in Doncaster who have been digging trenches to keep quad bikers off their land.
They say the damage to crops can cost hundreds of pounds and several have told BBC Radio Sheffield they face violent threats when they challenge the bikers.

It can't be easy to live in the sizeable shadow of Yorkshire's Joe Root, but his 23-year-old brother Billy Root seems to be making a good fist of it.
Joe (pictured) has become England's main man in the international set-up in all formats for the past couple of years.

But Sheffield-born Billy, who plays for Nottinghamshire, appears to be showing signs he has some of his brother's quality too, hitting his maiden first-class century for Leeds Bradford MCCU in their drawn match against Sussex.
However, as BBC Sport Online's been finding out, there's still some way to go catch up with his big brother.

The actress Tilda Swinton is due to visit Sheffield as part of the documentary film festival in the city this June, external.
She'll close the festival on Wednesday 15 June with the UK premiere of The Seasons in Quincy: Four Portraits of John Berger.

The documentary focuses on the British art critic and writer John Berger, who's lived in the Alpine village of Quincy since 1973.
The festival is also due to welcome snooker's Ronnie O'Sullivan back to the Crucible. He'll talk about the documentaries which have inspired him throughout his life and snooker career.
Sheffield medical students train to become Community First Responderspublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 7 April 2016
For the first time, medical students in Sheffield are being trained to become Community First Responders so they can deal with serious emergencies around Sheffield University.
As well as their normal medical training, they're also being coached by ambulance staff.

Rotherham manager Neil Warnock is among the nominees for Championship manager of the month, external for March.

The Millers secured 10 points from four games last month, with wins over Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday helping to lift them out of the bottom three. However, Warnock faces competition for the prize from Leeds United head coach Steve Evans, Burnley's Sean Dyche and Cardiff City's Russell Slade.
The winner will be announced on Friday.

It joins the Charles Street building and the Arundel Street building at Sheffield Hallam University.
The unusual bridge has been designed by Corin Mellor - the designer and son of David Mellor.

Police in Sheffield are still trying to track down 37-year-old Jonathan Dodson in connection with a number of assaults - three months after they first asked the public to help them find him.

The attacks are reported to have taken place in Sheffield between May and November 2015.
Det Sgt Suzanne Bluck said: “He knows he is wanted and appears to be actively evading police, which is simply unacceptable.
"This man is believed to be responsible for a number of violent crimes and it’s important we find him."
