  1. Travel: Vehicle fire leads to severe delays on A1

    BBC Travel

    Very slow traffic and severe delays on the A1 northbound between Barnsdale Bar in Skellow and the A1(M) J40 junction in Darrington.

    It's because of an earlier vehicle fire. 

    All lanes have been re-opened but there's congestion on the A1(M) to J37, A635 (Marr).
