More on the row which has broken out over a shopfront in Sheffield

Sheffield City Council says the shop's paint job, which is red, white and blue and fashioned into a union flag pattern, is garish and needs to be changed.

So what do you think? This is what you've been telling us:

    Quote Message

Ridiculous. If I went to another country and saw their national flag or colours on a shop front, I wouldn't bat an eyelid."

    Vince Robinson via Facebook

    Quote Message

Yes it's an eyesore. Every scrap of paint needs removing and they should be forced to pay for it doing right."

    Carl Madigan via Twitter

    Quote Message

You cannot paint your shop in the nation's flag, but they give listing status to a monstrosity like Park Hill, unbelievable."

    Timothy Glyn Barker

    Quote Message

Besides the fact it's an eyesore, they didn't have permission. Why should an exception be made?"
