    An 85-year-old man from Doncaster who was reported missing on Sunday 17 April, has been found safe and well.

    Alfred Mellins, from Skellow, was discovered in the Doncaster area, external this morning.

    South Yorkshire Police are thanking everyone who helped with their appeal.

    A team of 100 knitters and crocheters are due at BBC Radio Sheffield's headquarters in Shoreham Street today to make woolly hats for premature babies.

    It's part of the University of Sheffield's Life Festival, external, with the hats going to babies born in the city's Jessop Wing.

    The event will offer tea, biscuits, wool and knitting patterns – all you need to do is bring your needles, specified in these patterns:
