    Players of craze smartphone game Pokémon Go are being reminded not to try to "catch 'em all" at a hospital's A&E department.

    The site at Royal Stoke University Hospital has been found to be a hotspot, or "gym", for the little monsters - digital characters overlaid on real world locations via phones' cameras.

    Players, who try to catch the cartoon creatures, are welcome to play at the hospital, bosses say, external, but as the school holidays loom, they are instructed not to enter A&E.

    Two lanes are closed and there is queueing traffic on the M6 southbound near J8 ( M5), due to a broken-down lorry in the roadworks area.

    Drivers are being warned that travel time is 80 minutes and congestion runs to J11 (A460).

    So currently Stoke-on-Trent, with a high of 26C, is as hot as New York and Bejing - but some way behind Madrid with 35C.

    A new £3m unit to care for people who've had orthopaedic surgery , externalhas opened today at Stafford's County Hospital.

    The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust says it has 29 beds and a dedicated therapy area - which, they claim, is a first for the site.

    Three other wards are due to open at County Hospital in the next 18 months with a refurbishment of A&E due to be completed by the end of this year.

    A Stafford bride-to-be says she's really disappointed she found out her wedding venue had closed on social media rather than from the business itself.

    Jamie McClaren told BBC Radio Stoke she was planning to get married in November at the Post House in Stafford, which has gone into voluntary liquidation. 

    A statement on the venue's Facebook page, external says customers seeking refunds for recent bookings should contact the administrators.

    It's because of a broken-down vehicle.
