    The Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic says his loan move to Germany "isn't a goodbye to Stoke City". 

    The 26-year-old has joined Bundesliga side Mainz on loan until the end of the season.

    In his statement, Bojan says, external some of his happiest moments in his career have come in a Stoke shirt. 

    He adds that, instead of a goodbye, the move is "just a 'see you soon'".

    A man's body has been discovered in a brook in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent. 

    Staffordshire Police says officers were called to a property in Brook Road yesterday afternoon after concerns over a missing elderly man.

    Officers say a body was found in a nearby brook, adding it's not yet been formally identified. 

    The force says the cause of death isn't yet known and it is too early to confirm if the death is suspicious.

    Burton Albion boss Nigel Clough says he's going to spend the next few days thinking about the vacant managerial role at Nottingham Forest. 

    Clough has said he is interested in the job after being granted permission to talk to his former club.

    Forest sacked Philippe Montanier as manager on 14 January and have identified Clough, who played more than 300 games for Forest and scored 131 goals, as a possible replacement. 

    Clough met with Brewers chairman Ben Robinson on Friday to discuss Forest's approach and said he now had a "very difficult" decision to make.

    A protest is planned in Stoke-on-Trent tonight, external against Donald Trump's controversial ban on refugees and people from seven Muslim-majority countries travelling to the USA. 

    It follows demonstrations in America and will coincide with protests in other UK cities including London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.

    The protest in Stoke-on-Trent's been organised by the Newcastle-under-Lyme Labour Women's Network and is set to start in Hanley at 19:00.

    In a statement about the ban, President Trump said visas would once again be issued once "the most secure policies" were in place, and denied it was a Muslim ban. 

    Sixteen state attorneys general have said the order is unconstitutional. 

    Several federal judges have temporarily halted the deportation of visa holders.

    He was asked about the potential switch after Saturday's 2-1 win at QPR and said: "It's going to be a difficult couple of days. I can't tell you any more than that at the moment."

    Strongman Eddie Hall, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, has won the title of Britain's Strongest Man, external for the fourth year in a row.

    The 29-year-old, from Clayton, took the title by 14.5 points from second-placed Laurence Shahlaei. 

    On his Facebook page, Eddie Hall said he was delighted, external and claimed he'd shown "complete dominance" through the show.

    Trains travelling north in Shropshire towards Whitchurch are delayed for up to an hour after a person was struck at Harlescott level crossing, in Shrewsbury.

    Delays are expected on the line towards Crewe until about 09:00.

    There is no news yet of the person involved.
