    You've been giving your reaction to plans by Stoke-on-Trent City Council which could see the school summer holidays in the city cut by one week. 

    They're consulting on the proposal and the extra week could be added to the October half-term.

    Kelly McArdle, who has four children and is chairman of Stoke-on-Trent Mums Club, said she backed shortening the summer break as it would make looking after children easier for families.

    On the BBC Radio Stoke Facebook page, Angela Breslin said, external it was a great idea but didn't want the week shifted to October as "The weather can be very hit and miss and not everyone can holiday abroad". 

    Stuart Harding added, external: "Make them have shorter holidays but don't move them to any other time of the year, just make them stop at school."

    Staffordshire Police say two men went into the One Stop Store on Nashe Drive, Blurton last night and the staff member was grabbed by the arm. 

    They say the pair got away with cash leaving the worker with a minor injury.

    People will be able to watch peregrine falcons at a Staffordshire beauty spot from the comfort of their own homes.

    The Staffordshire Wildlife Trust has been awarded £10,000, external to help promote their Peregrine Watch project from March this year.

    The money's come from the Aviva Community Fund and will let them create a proper shelter for volunteers as well as investing in new telescopes and binoculars.

    After losing three games in a row to Stoke, Everton have won the last two without conceding.

    While Stoke have only lost four of their last 17 league matches since 19 September, with those defeats coming against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bournemouth.
