The Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell says signing three players early in the closed season has eased the pressure on them to make a signing just for the sake of completing one.
Defenders Jon Guthrie and Ollie Turton have left Crewe this summer while Michael Raynes, Chris Porter (pictured) and Jordan Bowery have come in.
The Crewe boss is still looking to add another midfield player and a couple of defenders to his squad.
Quote MessageIf we hadn't signed anyone, having lost Ollie [Turton] and Jon [Guthrie] on top of your Danny Hollands and your Billy Binghams, who left for their own family reasons, we might be getting to a point now were we're going 'shall we just get one over the line' just to make sure we're getting one over the line."

A hospital trust has been targeted by a cyber-attack for the second time in two months.
On Friday, the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) would only confirm it had suffered a "cyber incident" and at the time refused to describe it as an attack.

That type of cyber-attack, which locks users out of their computers, swept the world last month and saw the NHS particularly badly hit, including the UHNM.
But the trust says it had learned from that and, having detected the virus, contained and removed it, saying there was no disruption to patients or hospital services.
On Friday, it said staff had to abandon at least one computer system and make notes on paper.
