    Good morning. We'll start the day by taking a look at what the weather has in store for us, finding out if the roads and rails are running smoothly, and checking out the local papers.

  8. Sudbury death 'not thought to be suspicious'published at 16:21 British Summer Time 31 August 2016

    Suffolk Police say they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances in the death of the man whose body was found in River Stour at Blackfriars in Sudbury just after 13:00 today.

    The body is believed to be that of an older man and his next-of-kin have been informed. A walking stick was found on a bridge in the area.

    A cordon has been put up and the fire service were called to help in assisting with the recovery of the body.

    Officers are asking anyone who may have seen a man walking with a stick to contact them.

    The man who helped bring commercial radio to East Anglia has died.

    David Cocks was part of the team which launched the region's first commercial stations, Radio Orwell in Ipswich and Saxon Radio in Bury St Edmunds.

    They became SGR and Heart. He also developed a healthcare company called Suffolk Doctors on Call and was well known in the county.

    If Jonny Williams can recapture the form of his first loan spell at Ipswich, this could be an excellent piece of business for the Blues.

    Clearly fitness has to be a concern after his recent injury record, but it's worth a punt on a player who genuinely offers something different and can be a match winner. 

    Williams, christened Joniesta by the fans, will undoubtedly create chances for his team-mates and is capable of scoring the odd spectacular goal or two as well.

    Here's the first picture of midfielder Jonny Willliams, taken at Portman Road this afternoon, after signing for a fourth loan spell at Ipswich Town.

    He told me: "It's a great feeling, I had some great moments here at this club, and especially my first and second loan spells here. 

    "If it wasn't for a couple of bad tackles, the third one probably wouldn't have got cut short and then who would have known what happened? It's nice to be back and hopefully it's successful."

    An iguana found in Pakefield has been reluctant to come back from its spell on the run.

    Mike Hamilton, the pet's owner, said it was showing no sign of coming down from the tree where it has been living. 

    “He’s enjoying himself - he won’t come down," said Mr Hamilton, who lives near the tree where the iguana has taken refuge. 

    "I’ve tried to entice him down with food and everything.

    “He’s living the life of Riley up there. He’s loving it.

    “He won’t hurt anybody, he’s ever so friendly."

    A chip shop worker said the iguana had become talking point in Pakefield after being seen in and around the area.

    Rani Coleman, who works nearby, said: “Customers have been coming in and asking about it.

    "As soon as I came into work this morning, everyone was there with their binoculars out. I knew definitely straight away that they’d found it.”

    A reptile enthusiast has said the pet iguana found in Pakefiled was unlikely to be dangerous.

    Ashley Wilson, 16, who had come to see the iguana, said he had hoped to get one as a pet in the future.

    He said: “These go to about five foot in length, and they live in mostly warmer climates, so I don’t reckon it will survive much longer in this weather.”

    Asked if it was a danger to anybody, he said: “It can be a danger depending on if its aggressive or not, but mostly likely not."

    Ever since Ipswich Town manage Mick McCarthy said he expected to be busy on transfer deadline day, rumours have been abounding about potential new signings.

    One of the more unlikely suggestions was Suffolk-born Derby County striker Chris Martin - the namesake of the Coldplay singer.
