We brought you news earlier of a High Court ruling that Suffolk Police will have to pay money back to Ipswich Town FC, after overcharging the club for match day policing.
Suffolk Police has issued a statement saying: "This is a complex judgement clarifying the time limitations and liabilities that can be applied by either party, depending on the result of the appeal by Ipswich Town Football Club against the original High Court judgement last year.
"The appeal is scheduled to be heard on 27/28th June 2017.
"Due to the ongoing legal process, it is not appropriate for the Constabulary to comment any further at this time.”
A spokesman for Ipswich Town said: "This is part of an ongoing legal process and we will not be making any comment at this time.”
