A 13th straight triumph at Foxhall later is guaranteed to put the Witches clear at the top of speedway's Championship table, external, as both Edinburgh and Glasgow do not race again until next week.

As far as team news is concerned, Justin Sedgmen has fully recovered from the concussion that saw him miss last week's win over Sheffield Tigers.

Witches director of speedway Chris Louis is pleased to have the 25-year-old available again for the visit of Newcastle Diamonds.

"Justin had a nasty fall during a recent televised meeting at Poole, whereby the speedway bike actually landed on his head," Louis said.

"He'd been pretty uncomfortable for a bit and had a compulsory seven-day lay off, but since then he's been able to regroup.

"In recent days he's been working on equipment and getting himself ship shape. So he should be ready to go."

The Suffolk side face Newcastle Diamonds, while closest rivals Edinburgh Monarchs do not feature again until they come to Foxhall next week.

With a 100% winning record in Suffolk so far this season, Witches' director of speedway Chris Louis says his riders are full of confidence.

"The home form has been tremendous and we have looked so dominant," he said.

"Even when we have had a shaky start to a meeting or a collapse in the middle, we have found strength at the end.

"This league is such though that we have to continue to be on our guard at Foxhall as everyone is competitive and will be looking to take points from us."

  11. New ID card aims to solve 'not drunk, but brain-injured' problempublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 20 July 2017

One of the tasks carried out by Prince Harry during his visit to Suffolk, was to promote a new ID card for people who have had head injuries.

Brain Injury Identity CardImage source, Headway

It took place during his visit to the charity Headway, external, at its Ipswich hub.

Luke Griggs says they've been told by brain injury survivors that other people are just unaware that they have "hidden" issues.

"Things like memory problems, slurred speech, an unsteady walking style, can lead people into difficult social situations if the effects of their brain injury aren't understood," he said.

"We've had a number of people who've come to us and said they've been refused to be served in a pub because they appear to be drunk."

The idea behind the card is for it to be a "simple solution to a tricky conversation to ensure that brain injury survivors are identified as soon as possible".
