    Ben Weisz
    Political reporter, BBC Sussex

The debate about whether to leave the EU is largely over – we’re leaving, the Government insists.

Futurologist Nick Price set out his best-case and worst-case scenario for the UK in 2021 – one where we’d taken the opportunity to trade with the world and expand our economy, and one where we’d hesitated - the economy stagnating while we dithered over what to do.

Businessman Brett North then told us that to avoid that worst-case scenario and get to the rosier situation, the UK needed to act decisively, do more to nurture homegrown talent, and shift the immigration debate from one about numbers to one about skills.
